The problem with the name Zeigler is you need a copy of the "Beardstown
Division
Dictionary""Mostly for use in Southern Ill.""" it sometimes takes a while to
understand the English language used in certain areas

HI!
This is exactly the area I wish to model in Z. It is Zeigler, (but for
whatever reason its pronounced wrong from the German name it came from)
Check on line, there is a nice historical society there in Zeigler. They
actually have a link tho that Burlington Bulletin (I reallly need to get
that one!)
As you know the Mopac,IC,GMO,and CB&Q weaved in and out of that whole area
to the mines. Good luck with your search. As I will also have the Mopac
crossing the Q at Waltonville, I will now look into how it ran into Zeigler
too.

I don't think my eyes could handle Z scale. What are you doing about
cabooses? Anyone but Micro Trains making rolling stock?

The bulletin is well worth the cost.

Bill
