Dear all,
We at the car 57 restoration project are at a critical stage in the
restoration,
now we have moved downtown in Cheyenne and settled in to the new surroundings
we
have set our attention to working on the exterior of the car once again. We
have
about 1 clear month of weather left before the Wyoming winter sets in (if it
was
anything like last year) we have to get our roof stripped off, sealed and
painted before the winter weather sets in. We dont want to have any damage to
our beautiful patterned ceilings so the whole job has to be done quickly and
methodically. We therefore have to resort to hiring some local help to strip
the
roof and recover it.
The majority of the work on this car has been done and financed by myself and
the other owner and some kind donors but this job is just too big for us when
we
are working every day of the week, roof work like this is best started in the
early morning. The city of Cheyenne are providing us with a scissor lift and
harnesses to use but we require approximately $1500 to pay for the labour.

all contributors will recieve a photograph of the car and a acknowledgement
letter which can be used for tax deduction purposes
We hate to beg for funds but find ourselves really up against the weather and
time on this one, please assist if you can.
