[CBQ] Box Car ID

Going through my photos, I notice that I have a photo of #41236, which Mike 
Spoor's book shows that that number is part of the XM-2 serice built in 1959.

The XM-2 was a 40'6" combination door box car. The door on the left is a plug 
door according to Spoor's book. My photo shows 41236 as having a wider door 
than the 6 ft door on the right, could be 9 ft?

Can I assume that at one time, the Q may have removed the plug door on 41236 
and added the larger door? Does anyone have any insight on this?

Accurail made a nice model (HO) of the XM-2 with plug door, might be 
interesting to pick up another model and add the larger door.
