I noticed this in the C&S section didnt realise they ran to Ill ! Nice pics

This is the Ron Nixon collection, and the captioning on many of the
photos -- done by volunteers at the library -- is notoriously
inaccurate. I've noticed this especially in the C&S photos.

A photo collection that I haven't seen reference to before is at the
Montana Museum of the Rockies. This link should go to the railroad
search page, and there are 8 pages of CB&Q photos, almost all steam.
There are also B&MR photos and C&S. Note, though, that there are two
search pages for the latter road - "Colorado and Southern" and
"Colorado
& Southern".

Included are photos of the first CB&Q trains to enter and leave St Paul
in August 1934. Unfortunately, they do not appear to be the same Zephyr
unit! Arriving is #9905 Zephyrus (which wasn't delivered until November
193) and departing is #9900.
