[CBQ] Mystery Container

Hi All,

Ron Swanson of Galesburg, IL sent an email to me with three photos that have
been uploaded to the Photo area.  He asked: ?I got this, years ago, from my
Mother's antique shop and don't have a clue as to what it is.  It is stamped
"Burlington Route" and "S.G.ADAMS METALWARE CO, ST. LOUIS on the sides.  It
is approx 5" tall.  Can you identify it for me, please??

Once again, I did not know so I promised I would post the images and pose
his question to the group.  Any ideas?

I thought maybe it was a kerosene can?
