There were two articles in the NARROW GAUGE AND SHORT LINE GAZETTE. The May/June 1981 issue had an article with pictures. The May/June 1986 issue had an article with pictures and a drawing. From the Equipment registers they were retired about 1925. Also from the Equipment register there were two M/W cars, a line car #211500 and a track sweeper #211525. They are listed as "electric motors for the interurban line". I do not know of any pictures of these two cars. There was also an article on the Black HIlls Narrow Gauges in the July 1972 NMRA Bulletin. Ken Martin > I'm looking for information on the electric trolleys that ran in > Deadwood, > SD. The cars were renumbered in 1906 to #12150-12152. I would like > to track > down these cars for restoration.
