If you're interested in modeling, American Model Builders, Inc. produces an OH scale LaserKit of the CB&Q Standard Tool House based upon Blueprint No. 65755 5/8. The prototype for the kit was the tool house (speeder shed) at Metropolis, IL. The plan shows a black and white photo of the original, but the instructions say it was painted Indian red with bronze green trim until the 1960s, when they were painted solid white. The roof was originally green, but I've seen color photos where it was black, probably in Spoor's books, but I don't remember which volume(s). You might also check the BB master index for plans published in the BB.
