Hi All, Would someone with more knowledge on keys be able to assist with Carl's questions? If so, please reply both to the list and to Carl directly at carl@plektyx.com. Thanks! Dave L Pooler, GA -----Original Message----- From: Carl Tollander [mailto:carl@plektyx.com] Sent: Friday, March 19, 2010 5:16 PM To: BRHS@burlingtonroute.com Subject: request artifact identification Hello, I have found myself in the posession of an old key, stamped on one side "Burlington Route" and on the other side with the number 5766 and S. In very small worn letters can be made out "A & W" (possibly, I'm only sure of the "A") and "Chicago". An initial perusal of the rosters on your web site did not reveal a match. I am wondering if you could help me identify just what this may have been a key to, or point me in the right direction. It was in my father's personal effects, received in turn from his father, so may conceivably be to stock from the 1940's or earlier that is no longer in service. Thank you very much for your assistance. Carl Tollander carl@plektyx.com ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
