[CBQ] Looking for Help

Does anyone know where I can locate early 20th century personnel records
for the C.B.&Q?

My grandfather began working for the Q about 1910.  From about 1914
until 1932, he was an engineer.  He operated a "pile driver," which
pulled a work train.  The derrick was used to set pilings for bridges
and he also cleared several wrecks, one for the Minneapolis & St. Louis
Railroad in 1922.  He lost his right arm in a mishap in 1932 and was
assigned to operate a turntable bridge at Prescott, WI from 1933 until
he retired in 1950.  I have his railroad watch, a 1914-15 Hamilton
18-size, 17-jewell watch with a "full figured dial" and chain.  He died
in 1979.  I also have some nice old photos of him on his engine, No.
204614.  I have his social security number and a copy of his Death
Certificate.

I have already tried several sources including the Railroad Retirement
Board and the BNSF with no luck.
