Hi,
I am looking for information on a former CB&Q locomotive crane. I am a
member of the Camp Creek Threshers of Waverly,NE. We have a 1920 Browning
Number 8 locomotive crane SN 1878. It was owned by the Burlington and later
Hughes Brothers in Seward, NE. We are currently re-tubing the boiler, and
plan on repainting the carbody. What we would like to know is the Burlington
road number it carried. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This crane
was in operation at our show up until last year, and we are looking forward
to many more years of operation at our show.
