Ryan,

This last summer they razed the Kable fullfillment building, which used to be
the Carnation Condensed milk plant. I was just talking to Mike Spoor about
this plant last night. In the '50's they received the cans by boxcar and
shipped the condensed milk out in insulated reefers (without ice). There were
two tracks for the plant, tracks nine and ten. It's all gone now.

Rich G.

What rail served plant was on the East side of S 2nd St at Armstrong in Oregon?
Last time I was out there early last year the place was demolished/burned.
