I was/am under the impression that there was an engine change at Burlington and 
Rock Island ran from there to St.Paul.John

  Sorry about the cross-post, but both gorups may have info about this. I've 
been having a discussion with someone about the power for the Zephyr Rocket. 
All the evidence I had pointed to run-through operations, including many 1960s 
photots. However, two anecdoatal sources point to a power change in Burlington. 
Does anyone have info that would help clarify this? Did policy change? Or were 
there just occasional exceptions to a standard policy?
