[CBQ] Re: Commuter train with a baggage car?

The Q commuters ran bi-level cars with a power car directly behind the engine 
to supply HEP power to the bi-levels. At some point the E-units were rebuilt to 
supply the power directly. My recollection was that this was during the BN or 
later time-frame. During the late 60's and even 1970 or 71 they were still in 
use - couple of different types ...baggage combine with power section and a 
pure coach with power section. might have also been a baggage with power 
section as well ...consult the books.
