I also enjoyed the posts very much. I was born in Aurora, and my family rode 
the "Dinky" trains (as well as the CA&E, "Third Rail") for many years. My Dad 
worked in the Aurora Shops during World War II, and was there when the first 
dome car was built. The first time I recall seeing a "Dinky" was when my sister 
boarded one at the Hollywood depot in 1957.
