John, Look at the cover of Jeff Wilson's "Burlington in the Heartland". This is a Bob Milner photo of the E5's pulling the CZ in August (?) 1950. I have seen other photos, as well. Rich G. -----Original Message----- From: John Manion <railbass@comcast.net> To: CBQ@yahoogroups.com Sent: Mon, Oct 19, 2009 10:49 am Subject: [CBQ] E5 on CZ I model the California Zephyr in HO and N scales. I have a Proto 2000 E6 which I am converting to an E5, based on drawings in Mainline Modeler, November 2003. Does anyone have or know of a photo of a Q E5 on the point of the CZ? I have to believe that sometime in the early years, an E5, which is my favorite Q diesel, has to have pulled the CZ to Denver or Chicago. - John Manion Denver, CO [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
