Back in August I photographed a pair of green BNSF locomotives at Seattle's Balmer Yard on 8-8-09 not aware they were both former Burlington units. (it was a pretty sure bet the GP40E was!) http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1741509 BNSF 2907/BNSF 3026 are classed as GP39E/GP40E by BNSF but on the Burlington they would have been a GP35/GP40 set. BNSF 2907 - BN 2907 - BN 2531 - CBQ 985 BNSF 3026 - BN 3551 - BN 3004 - CBQ 174 Here is a shot of the BNSF 3026 at Balmer Yard on 8-8-09. http://www.locophotos.com/PhotoDetails.php?PhotoID=105208 I can't recall the last time I photographed two CB&Q units together by themselves so this was a pleasant surprise. I can almost picture them both in Chinese Red. Brian Ambrose Renton, WA ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
