Listees, I'm in final stage of creating 8600-8899 series "troop kitchen" express car for my Exposition Flyer. Tomorrow would like finish the paint job. Before that, I need some advice. 1. At the time period 1947 - 1949 did those cars have roman style lettering (the gothic style came later). Right? 2. At that period were those cars panted "pullman green" with "dulux gold" (dark yellow) lettering. Right? 3. Trucks were black (right?). 4. What about roof? Pullman green or black? (I have really no idea. I've seen in color only model (HO) of the later paint scheme with gothic lettering. The roof was black, but not sure if that model was correct ....) Any advice would be greatly appreciated. (Sooner the better - hope to finish painting tomorrow) Thanks and regards, Michal Basta ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
