Depending what it looks like, It could be a freight car trust plate. At some
point the Q only made stencils of the info and painted them on the cars.

Hi folks,
I had asked about trust plates on SD-24s previously and was now wondering if
any other Q units carried trust plates. I recently came into posession of a Q
trust plate, but I have no information on what unit it was from. It has a date
of 1961 on it and my research has shown that the Q's order of GP20s were the
only units acquired in 1961. It looks like there is a plate near the rear of
the GP-20s but I have not been able to find a photo that shows the rear of a
unit. Any ideas?
Thanks!
Bryan J. Howell
