Hi folks, I just uploaded the updated CB&Q Remaining/Preserved Locomotive list to the BRHS website. The only major change was the removal of GP7 #230. The Memphis Transportation Museum sold this unit to CAGY Industries, parent company of shortline Columbus & Greenville. #230 was used as a parts unit for the railroad and sits on shop trucks with many components removed. Since it was no longer preserved, I opted to remove it from the list. Also of note are the 2 Motor Cars formerly at the Ft.Madison, Farmington & Western RR, which were sold at auction. Looking through the CBQList archives, I was able to piece together that the unit still in operating condition was sold to a party in Virginia. If anyone has more info on the dispositions of the motor cars, please let me know. http://www.burlingtonroute.com/docs/rosters/remain_diesel.html Thanks! Bryan J.
