Definitely. Its kinda cool but sad, you can see the remnants of lots of the
spurs, especially east of the locomotive compound(the tracks are out of service
east of there. I think they are only using 6 or 7 of the line's spurs. One of
which I believe was formerly part of the ATSF IN line. They have even lost some
in recent years. But there is hope once this economy picks up.
There is talk of reactivating the tracks east of the compound , and building a
spur to Ozinga's construction. If Ozinga stopped using barges completely, they
would be handling 20 sand cars each way daily. But thats just chatter amongst
the crew now.
