Getting those timebooks was a good deal Leo with all that loco info. Appears
the power was all Northerns or Hudsons. Thanks for sharing! (wonder when last
date was a Hudson handled relief for a passenger - probably during the mid to
late-40's?)

R.K.. Johnson spent the first 7 months of 1952 on the "Moonlight"
job(that's what Lew Peshia always called 69/64). Job on duty at Clyde at 7:45PM
and returns next day at 7:15PM from Barstow. There's the "Moonlight" They
would arrive at Barstow around 3AM and also at Clyde around 3AM but of course
this would vary somewhat.
Again whats interesting this job would occasionally start on the return
trip from Barstow as 64 and turn at Earlville or Somonauk becoming 69 again,
return to Barstow, layover and come out the next night as 64 again. Any
number of things could be the reason for the extra trip/layover.
Power is the impressive.Heres a sample list of power in
1952:3001,4000,5617,5618,5624,5633,5635,3006,4004,etc.
They were 2 turns(crews) on this job. One had Saturday off and one Sunday.
I know this because RK bid in the other turn to have Saturdays off.
