While this is not either Railroad or CB&Q I think many like historical interests. Whatever: "The Historic Anderson House Minnesota oldest continuously operating hotel and Wabasha's tourist identity for more than 150 years, closed it's doors last Thursday." (This was right across the river from Nelson WI.) "The original Anderson House was built in 1856 by B.F.Hurd and was known as the Hurd House for many years. In 1909 the business was purchased by W.M.Anderson who remodeled the Hurd House and re-named it The Hotel Anderson." As of right know there is no plane to remove or change the Anderson House, there is simply not enough business. There is also no hopes that anything will change in the future. Interesting...
