A few years ago when the BRHS held a meet at Aurora we were treated to a trip to the Illinois Railway Museum and a ride on the Nebraska Zephyr.? While on the ride lunch was served in the dining car....As we were eating the conductor and brakeman came through the car and immediately as they entered the car both of them removed their caps as they passed through the car. Question???? Why did they remove their caps and under what conditions would they not have done so???? Leo and Archie ought to know...let's see if anyone else does. I'll hold off a few days to give anyone who wants a chance to answer to do so, before I award the prize for the correct answer.
