Tom, The "Atchison & Nebraska Rail Road Company" purchased Aug 1870 by the CB&Q. Was between Atchison KS to Rulo NE. After the bridge between Rulo and Napier was built it was no longer that important to run it on the west side. Think the Missouri Pacific of Nebraska was built in 1882. Not much reason to have both side by side.
