Green River Ord was used as a warehouse for medical supplies for Chicago Nuke
attacks until the 70's even had a little plymouth engine or two.
Lee County Central Electric was like Illinois Midland served the local
elevator.
There was a lot of talk of putting the Denrock to Sterling line back in to
service the steel mill but it was all hot air
