Doug, Your points are valid. The question was raised because westbound stock was extremely rare. Princeton had a fairly sizeable stock yard for feeders and outbound shipments,which of course by 1956 were nonexistant.. The possibility of stock moving in interchange thru Chgo to points west on the Q has got to be nil. Russ pointed out this shipment may have come from around St Paul. If it had come from the western grasslands I cant imagine how it ended up westbound at Mendota except as I suggested due to handling error. Leo Phillipp **************Worried about job security?
