I think you're right.
I often wondered why we had a w/c at Rochelle but not Oregon where we went  a 
lot farther distance. You're wreck might explain it. 
I wonder how many draft gears we wore out at Rochelle over the years with  
the w/c tied to the engine 24 hours a day switching hundreds of cars a day ?  
Even on the Earlville Turn at Cat w/all the in plant switching for 10-12 hours 
a 
 day we set the w/c over and out of the way till we headed west or back to  
Eola.
