Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Having just received my copy of Strauss' passenger car book Vol. 2 - I
want to try to recreate the June '51 consist of No. 19 listed on page
42. However, I'm having difficulty finding anything online for a
couple of the cars and wondered if you might be able to assist.
The cars in question are SP baggage express #6519 and NYC express-
reefer #5962. I've written an SP person on the SP car, but the car
that is the most troublesome is the NYC car. The closest car that I've
found to that number is a wooden reefer. I did find it interesting
that the next car in the number series was in the consist of the Expo
that was in the Naperville wreck. Do you know where I might be able to
get more info?
