I also have some gold colored silverware with the burlington route logo on it.
I was told this was used in business cars. Any information on gold silverware

Will anyone give a brief synopsis of the history of Burlington Route
dining car silver service markings? For instance, early stuff seems to
have had the well-known Burlington Route square logo on the side and
later stuff seems to have had the "BR" (with a backward B) on a side.
This begs a number of questions: e.g., were the sides ever decorated
any other way, when was the changeover from one style to another, did
any of the silver service have the designation "Chicago, Burlington &
Quincy", or "Colorado & Southern", or "Fort Worth & Denver" (or their
abbreviations" on the bottom) whenever the Burlington Route square
logo was used on the side, etc.
Esoteric information to be sure but it is interesting, especially to
the collector.
