Hi all,
On Friday the 26th, foregoing the organized bus tour, I'll be driving down
from Macomb to Gateway Rail Services in Madison to visit and photograph the
Mark Twain Zephyr, with a possible side trip over to the National Museum of
Transport to visit Silver Charger.
I've checked with Justin at Gateway, and he says that a small group (3-4)
is OK. So if there are 3 fellow shovelnose nuts that would like to
accompany me, you are welcome.
Actual trip logistics to be worked out later. It's a 3+/- hour drive each
way, judging from Google maps, so it will be an all-day trip in any case.
Probably leaving Macomb around 7AM and returning 6-7PM.
