The Q locomotive in the background is 3003.
Was the flood damage at the depot from several years ago ever repaired.
(My changing of the case in the title has nothing to do with whether I am
bothered by the title being uppercase, which I am not. I just did not want the
bickering over grammar to overshadow the topic, which because of the flooding,
is very much on our minds now. I especially really feel bad about the Station
because it was a very beautiful building in the 60s when I would pass by it on
the Denver Zephyr. And 3003 was kept so well polished that the glare off of
its smoke box would blind you as you would look at it from the vista dome.
These are the fond memories I have of Burlington and my trips on the DZ and to
--- if I am going to let some irrelevant bickering about grammar distract from
them. This topic is about Burlington, not about English)

I was watching a short "squibb" on CNN at 1:00pm CDT today.? The
reporter was interviewing the mayor of Burlington.
In the background you could see the Q Locomotive (number escapes me now).?
Looks like the water is nearly up to the? top of the drivers.? Maybe about 6
inches below the top.
I couldn't see the former Q depot, but it's at about the same level as the
engine, so guess the water would be? at least four feet in the "waiting room".?
Probably "finish off this building for good.

Just curious....but do the "punctuation & Cap key" not work on your
keyboard? Quite annoying to try and read a message that appears to
be written at the 1st grade level!
