The USGS website is great for locating maps. 
  I have saved the image from their 
          56448    GALENA, IL IA 
  mag. I think that I need to look at the up & down river maps too.
  I only wish that the USGS site would like you move from one map to the one 
next to it without having to know that maps name. That info is on the map that 
they want to sell.

Works good for getting basic track layout. Resolution is improving every so
often as they add new images.

Try the radar weather maps on Weather.com for up to date maps 
about as good as it gets you just have to hunt as the Army lines do not show
on the RR track charts. Or try USGS Maps and or their site
