I was at Relco a week or two ago. The managers were expecting a
delivery
of flat cars from the EJ&E for out loading of the MTZ. They thought it
had been sold, but had no further details.
The MILW HH660 was still there. They jokingly offered it for sale.
They were winding down the shop work and sending materials to Iowa.
The
two buildings are also for sale.

Does any one know about the status of some of the historic equipment
stored at Minooka including the Mark Twain Zephyr and their former
Milw HH660? There were strong rumors that the grounded Zephyr train
set was to be scrapped in the summer. I would imagine that the HH660
would also be at risk too."
Does anyone know what is going on with it?
Thanks,
