Was built with steam generator. Had full tank under
unit divided into fuel and water sections. If and
when the steam generator was removed the tanks were
probably connected. That was the normal way of doing
it.

Can anyone tell me if CB&Q SD9 346 was equipped with a steam generator?
Also did it have a full size fuel tank or just half like some 400 series
SD9's did.
