I personally have no information on the nose striping. I also do not have
information on when the new revised units will be available.

The email I received from Walthers stated that they (Walthers) caught the
error on the grab irons and that they rejected the entire shipment so that
no models were shipped to dealers. This, as we all know, is incorrect.

The Train Shop in Santa Clara Ca has the F7 with the incorrect grab irons
and there are a lot on ebay that are incorrect. So if you want the correct
units, I would suggest holding off on any ebay units until you can confirm
that this has been corrected.

I would assume it will be several months before the corrected units are here
- maybe by Christmas at best.
