Pat,
The Minnesota Historical Society Archives in St Paul have the complete USRA
Director's Files for the GN and NP. I've been through both railroads' files
superficially and I recall mention of the CB&Q (which was, of course, owned
jointly by the two roads) in those files.
I obviously don't know where you live in the US, but if you are close enough
to the Twin Cities that a visit is possible, I would highly recommend it.
Regards,
Dave Lambert

Subject: [CBQ] CB&Q during WWI
Can anyone tell me how the CB&Q was ran under the USRA during WWI?
Time frame appromimately Jan 1, 1918 to March 1, 1920.
Was the CB&Q consolidated with other roads and ran under a division
superintendent?
I am specifically looking for information on how things were run over
the P&I bridge between Metropolis, Ill. and Paducah, Ky. IC, NC&StL,
and CB&Q all had operations in that area during that time.
Thanks,
Pat
