Take a close look at the cars and I think you will find they have the same
cross section as a standard lightweight car NOT the standard Pullman built box
cars used for the WWII Sleepers and Kitchen cars

The Railway Age cars are probably 50' smooth side
simular to AMTRAK 1300 series baggage. AMTRAK used
them for baggage, express, and mail. They even put
diesel gen. sets is a few for emergancy HEP. Had one
at St. Paul Midway Station for a few months in the
