Hi Ken;
Both of those photos have been on my site for a long time. The early
picture is from a postcard I picked up at a flea market a couple of
years ago. The elevator in the background is (was) Northwestern Seed
Company, which was a prominent landmark across from the depot. Their
name was on the elevator part of their structure. It was flanked by
long trackside warehouse sections that connected to it. I've got a
Sanborn map of the area if anyone is interested in more info.
