A few years ago there were a number of messages going regarding
Burlington-related music. I just ran across "Music" in the files section and
it made me think of a song Red Steagall did back in the seventies, the "Texas
Silver Zephyr". It's not on iTunes, but I did a search and found out he
re-released it in 2006 on "The Wind The Wire and The Rail", a compilation of
his songs and poetry that celebrate three things that made the West: the
windmill, barbed wire, and the railroad. Hey, I'm surprised you Texas guys
didn't bring this up before!
