Pete,
I have copies Q Annual Reports from 1955-1964. The last page of each from
1955-1963 is a tabulation of % of Total Frt revenue by Major Commodity group.
LCL is the last shown . LCL dropped from 1921 at 14.39% to 1.58% in 1963.
Starting in 1959 there is a comment within the discussion about Burlington
Truck Lines that it is also carrying rail billed LCL for the RR. Prior to that
there was no mention of LCL under Burlington Truck Lines.
The 1964 annual report has no listing or discussion of LCL. But does show
$69,000 in milk revenue !
