the Erie and NKP also got a noticeable amount of this traffic
In that a good majority of the silk was processed in the mills of Paterson
and Passaic NJ, the Erie connection (both cities on the Erie main line) and NKP
connection (connecting with the DL&W at Buffalo, with the DL&W also serving
the Paterson area with its Great Notch line) made sense.
