CB&Q. A 
copious collection of photos with narration by famed TRAINS editor, David P. 
Morgan.

CHICAGO, BURLINGTON, QUINCY IN COLOR VOLUME 2, Michael J. Spoor, Morning Sun 
Books, 1993, 128 pages. The book and its dust jacket are in NEW/MINT condition. 
An all-
color photo journey on the Burlington from Chicago to the Twin Cities with the 
major 
emphasis on the late 1950's and 1960's and focuses on passenger and freight 
operations 
over the Chicago & Aurora and La Crosse Divisions. During this time period the 
Burlington 
was purchasing its second generation of diesel locomotives from EMD and GE. The 
black 
and gray paint scheme utilized during the 1940's gave way to the brilliant 
Chinese red and 
gray introduced in 1958. 100 plus color photos with maps, timetables etc. A 
must own 
book for the CBQ fan. $35.95

TIMETABLES: public system passenger 

Burlington Route: April 27, 1969, cover has an aerial view of Denver, excellent 
cond. $3.00

Burlington Route: Jan. 18, 1970, cover shows skiers in Colorado; this is the 
last system 
passenger timetable issued by the CBQ before the merger with the GN and NP. 
excellent 
condition, $3.00

Burlington Northern: The BN issued only 2 timetables before the arrival of 
Amtrak on May 
1, 1971; Both timetables are becoming rare items.

BN, Oct. 25, 1970; solid green cover with map of the BN system, 15 pages, $5.00
