There is a negative for sale on eBay of CB&Q wood DD Boxcar 46727 - it
is eBay item 150047476100. It is nothing I've seen before - appears to
be a Chinese Red double door outside braced wooden auto boxcar (it has
the auto box end doors). It has the modern BURLINGTON lettering placed
diectly on the mid-line of the car so it fits well within the outside
braces. The Burlington Route herald is mounted on the far left (1st)
panel of the car at the very top, with the "CB&Q" reporting marks and
number also mounted high up on the first panel, above the hand grabs
and just below the herald. This is really sharp!! Does anyone have or
know of any color photos of these boxcars in this scheme, or have I
found something here???
