In the early 50's, FW&D purchased 36 x FM-14/14A flat cars (89100-89599 series)
from CB&Q and renumbered them to 641-676. The first six were shown on the
roster in October 1951, with bulkheads for plaster board loading.

By October 1955, 30 cars numbered 641-670 are shown as being for plaster board
loading (inside length indicates that they were fitted with bulkheads) and six
car numbered 671-6 listed as 53' 6" flats. Can anyone identify when any of
these were transferred to FW&D?

In the July 1956 ORER, nine more 53' 6" flats had been added with a single
combined number series of 671-685, inferring that they were identical to the
first six. Were these nine cars also ex-CB&Q?

Any suggestions or leads to other FW&D information sources would be appreciated.
