Is there someone on the list who can tell me which track was retained
on the Plum River Bridge when the double track was retired in 1962(?)
between Plum River and the Stock Yards. The alignment chart suggests
that the main from Galesburg was removed, but CB&Q bridge plans dated
1961 proposed that the bridge on the north main from Aurora be
retired, and the Aurora main lined into the Galesburg main east of the
bridge, and realigned to the westbound in the LH curve between the
bridge and the Stock Yards. Thanks.

Glen Haug
