FYI to CB&Q 3-rail O-gauge & 2-rail O-scale fans. (I am not a
dealer, vendor, or manufacturer.). During 2005, Atlas-O has ofered
the following Q related items:
SW-8 Switcher in C&S/AT&SF Blackbird Scheme, #158 & #160. MSRP ~
$370 (3-rail) & ~$300 (2-rail).
USRA Double Sheathed Box Car, Mineral red w/white lettering
(scripted Everywhere West on door), 4 road # (CB&Q 120801 in
illustration), MSRP $50 -$52.
70 Ton Covered Hopper, Tuscan with white lettering, 4 road # (CB&Q
181587 in photo, MSRP ~$60 - $63.
40' Wood Beer Reefer 4-pack: one each of Goetz #14313;
LaCrosse/Peerless #NX3060; Hillsboro, WI NRC3531; and Carling's
Canadian Ale. The set is MSRP ~240 (3-rail) and ~$252 (2-rail). I
remember seeing photos or diagrams of the prototype Goetz and
LaCrosse/Peerless, I think in the BRHS BB on beer reefers. Too bad
each scheme is not offered individually.
I used to often post O-gauge reviews of Q-related offerings in order
to keep us all informed and to stimulate conversation.
Unfortunately, I have not had as much time as in years past to do
this.
Enjoy.
