Brad,
Some of the CB&Q GE trade ins went to Precision
National which in turn sold them to the ACL/SCL
where they were in service for another 4 or 5
years. A couple of this group ended up in the
Phosphate industry in Florida, further extending
their service lives.

An interesting thread which makes me ask when did the
last of the VO1000's leave the rails... Did any make
the merger. I remember seeing them in the Mid 60's
or so but I have no memory of seeing them after that.
