I have used this remedy on other brass locos, but have hesitated to do so on
the Challenger 2-6-4 because taking it apart looks scary. Just where and
how did you add the weight? Also, on other locos that I have weighted down
to get traction, I have shredded the gear boxes. Will the Challenger gear
boxes hold up under the extra strain? Dale Reeves
