Hi Tom,

Yes, the BTL did have these tractors. I found a photo of one is a BTL
magazine reprint and sent them a suggestion via an HO vehicle list that
I am on. Athearn's artwork is close although I think the truck frame
should be red instead of black.

The Athearn trailer has no prototype and is generic. Most of the BTL
trailers I've seen are Brown. Unfortunately no Brown trailer kits have
been produced to my knowledge.

The Classic Metal Works tractor is also similar to a BTL tractor photo
found in the same magazine. It is the IH R model. From what I have
seen over the years the BTL tended to prefer IH tractors.

If anyone out there in "Q" land has some good photos of Burlington
trucks (BTL or MOW) they would like to sell, let me know.

Athearn just announced a new release of their new Mack B-61 tandem
axle tractor and tandem trailer lettered BURLINGTON.

See the following links:

Anyone know how prototypical the scheme is? Also, did BTL use Mack
B-61's? And if they did, anyone know where we can get low interest
loans to buy a fleet of these?
