I recall two CB&Q waycars in a line of retired ones dated 8/97 and 9/97 in
St. Cloud yard several years ago. The line of waycars sat in the yard for
quite some time. The slides I took are from September of 1998. The two in
line are C&S 10628 and a CB&Q that I can not identify.
To answer another question, wide vision cabooses in CB&Q silver, GN Blue,
and NP Green survived well into the early 1990's without much modification.
Application of BN numbers and blanking out of windows were about the only
post-merger changes.
